Want to help redesign local democracy? Our annual Notwestminster event is for everyone who has something positive to say about local democracy and for anyone who is up for a challenge.
We bring people together to create and share new ideas for doing local democracy. Our second “We’re not in Westminster any more” event was on 12th and 13th February 2016 at The Media Centre in Huddersfield. It included a Local Democracy Maker Day, workshops, Lightning talks, a PechaKucha Night, creative activities, curry, drinks and lots of opportunities for making contact with others who are interested in local democracy.

What happened on Friday…
Friday 12th February 2016 was our Local Democracy Maker Day. We worked on three of our Design Challenges for Local Democracy. Then we had a Notwestminster PechaKucha Night and curry.
