Ideas from “The Council of 2045” workshop at #notwestminster 2015, hosted by Chris Naylor.
Building strong communities who support and are supported by their local council requires cooperation, trust, empathy and the willingness to share power. Imagine that in 2025 local government has been entirely cut off from Westminster. How will diverse groups, with conflicting interests, cooperate so that they can make important decisions?
The three ideas
- Digital can simplify and make managing services easier.
- Digital can help share passion and promote valued services.
- Dialogue online about a more collaborative approach.
