We held our first Maker Day in Leeds on Friday 11th September 2015. We brought together digital makers, local government officers, open data advocates, councillors and activists to work on three of our Local Democracy Design Challenges. Our aim was to turn our discussions around local democracy and digital into some practical tools that we can all use to make democracy work better for us. Our thanks to everyone who made it an inspiring and creative day.
Challenge 1 – Access to Decision Makers
Challenge 2 – Voter Information
Challenge 3 – Digestible Democracy
