If we want a stronger local democracy, we all need to get involved in making it happen – wherever we are. Our annual Notwestminster event is for everyone who has something positive to say about local democracy and for anyone who is up for a challenge.
We bring people together to create and share new ideas for doing local democracy. Our third annual Notwestminster event was on 10th and 11th February 2017 at the Media Centre in Huddersfield. It included a Democracy Experiments Day, workshops, Lightning talks, a PechaKucha Night, creative activities, curry, drinks and lots of opportunities for making contact with others who are interested in local democracy.

Friday 10th February 2017 was our Democracy Experiments Day. We designed practical experiments to make local democracy better. We also had a PechaKucha Night and curry.
